Season 5, Episode 2: Unoriginal Sin Original Air Date—28 July 2002 Samantha's announcement she's giving Richard another chance after his unfaithfulness, as nobody's perfect and it was 'only sex', is such a bomb-shell that even Charlotte makes an obscene gesture. Although Miranda is atheist, she can't deny Steve's entire Catholic family having the baby baptized. Just when Carrie felt down having to write about relationships without having one herself, she gets invited by a publisher to select some of her columns as a book. Eternally positive Charlotte drags Carrie along to the Fountain of Faith, but stands up to say faith didn't suffice for her.

Fast-paced and powerful drama set in the high-octane world of the City of London.

Elijah Smith (Trevor Harris) is living a nightmare. His mother Elizabeth is devoutly religious and Elijah is gay. Not able to come out to his parents, Elijah runs away to Vegas to live his authentic life. When he meets Jimmy Carpenter (Pierce Paris), Elijah learns about The Real Sin City. Michael (Ty Roderick) has an emotional attachment to his fifty-year-old Air Stream. It was the key that kept his last relationship together (at least for a while). When Michael meets Patrick (Isaac X), he's surprised by Pat's interest in helping him fix up the trailer. Once Michael lets Patrick in, Patrick breathes new life into the Air Stream, and in Michael.

In this alternative to a "the making of" on the super hit-sitcom "Sex and the City", which simply does not rely on special effects, various actors and other people involved in its production, writers, producers, wardrobe mistress, even celebrities appearing as themselves or just mentioned by characters (e.g. designers like Oscar De la Renta) try to fathom the success formula, supported by numerous short fragments: what did make it tick, where the pioneering boundaries were (and especially where not), what they enjoyed, inspiration from real life and especially New York...
